Rihanna is well known for her bad girl ways, but gets arguably more attention for her killer style. Effortlessly glamorous, and both boyish and feminine, RiRi knows how to revamp her everyday looks into something many people can’t pull off. That doesn’t stop her from being one of the fashion industry’s biggest inspirations.

That being said, the icon was recently featured in a jaw dropping photoshoot for Vogue’s March 2014 cover and editorial on the singer. David Sims photographed RiRi with almost full view of her many tattoos in stunning collections from Calvin Klein, Maison Martin Margiel, and Miu Miu. Even the most feminine outfits allow the singer to add a boyish twist, such as the outfit she modeled by Rodarte, which includes a leopard print brocade skirt and matching white bra, covered with a plaid, silk brown and white shirt. A matching white hat sits upon the singer’s dark, cropped hair. She is further accessorized with a gorgeous padlock chain necklace, and matching studded suspenders and belt.

The Barbadian has kept her ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ image flowing with her crazy awesome tats peeking through all of her designer clothes. We love the way she shows off how much of a rock star she is.

The editorial, written by Plum Sykes, takes the reader on a ride with Rihanna as the singer dresses the writer for the day. She tells Vogue that fashion to her is “not about pain. It’s about the commitment. I say to myself, ‘I want to look like this,’ and worry about the pain later. I’ve had nights I had to tiptoe home and the balls of my feet wouldn’t even allow me to stand.” She also admits that she wears jewelry from Claire’s, which we found completely shocking.

Think about that the next time you want to channel your inner bad girl RiRi!
