We were completely shocked when American Vogue featured some of the most popular supermodels of today on their September issue. But we are just floored over Vogue Italia’s September issue, which features 50 (yes, 50!) gorgeous models including the classics like Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Amber Valletta. It also features the new girls on the block like Miranda Kerr, Coco Rocha, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel. This huge, and what we’re sure to will be historical, cover is in honor of Vogue Italia’s 50th anniversary.

It was shot by Steven Meisel, who has definitely just crushed his competition with this one. Although, we can’t help but noticed some of our other favorite models are missing. Gisele Bundchen, Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer are absent. We totally understand Delevingne (she’s featured on American Vogue, British Vogue and Vogue Japan), but the other ladies? They’re definitely missed!

And can we just take a minute to say how incredible the models from the 80s and 90s look? Christy Turlington looks exactly the same, if not better than she did years ago. And Naomi Campbell really is defying age here. So snaps and claps to them and their good genes! Check out the cover below, and be sure to head over to Vogue Italia for more.
