Our favorite Spice Girl Victoria Beckham recently posed for the July 2014 cover of ELLE Singapore, and she has an important message for all of us.

During an interview with the magazine, Beckham discussed aspirations for her already extremely successful clothing line. The most important goal? To make a woman “feel her best.” Beckham’s mission is to help give women the confidence to go out and achieve their goals. “I want to empower women,” she said. The glossy asked the fashion icon and now designer to describe a woman who wears Victoria Beckham clothing. Beckham’s response was “a woman who wants to look good,” who “appreciates luxury,” and “likes fashion.” (Sounds a lot like us!)

The 40-year-old mom of four also mentioned in her interview that despite Posh Spice’s notorious reputation, Beckham has a playful side and a wicked sense of humor. “I like to poke fun at myself… and I think that surprises people,” she said.

What can we expect from the Victoria Beckham fashion label? Having already won Designer Brand of The Year at the 2011 at the  British Fashion Awards and Best Emerging Luxury Brand at the 2011 Walpole Awards, the label has already proved itself to the competition. But Beckham explained that she doesn’t feel the need to compete with anybody else. “I never went into this to prove anything to anybody, other than myself,” she said.
