Model Tyra Banks and her boyfriend, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, have announced the birth of their son York via surrogate.

Everyone deserves to be loved like this.

Banks posted a photo on Instagram of baby hat, typically one found on babies when their first born in the hospital. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world,” she wrote.

The 42-year-old emotionally opened up recently during an episode of FABLife, about her struggles with infertility. “It’s so funny when I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself, ‘In three years, I’m going to have kids.’ Then I turned 24. ‘In three years, I’m going to have kids,’” Banks said. “Every single year I kept saying that. And then after a while it’s like, ‘Okay, now I want to.’ And it’s not so easy.”

That was in September, so chances are Banks and Asla were going through the surrogate process during that time, making things all the more emotional. “As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world,” Banks told PEOPLE.

We couldn’t be happier for the couple, and cannot wait to see photos of baby York!

Do you have any well wishes for Tyra Banks?
