This past weekend American model Kate Upton was named the “Model of the Year” and received her award at the 10th annual Style Awards (which, interestingly enough, will be televised for the first time on September 14 on CNN). The 21-year-old blonde took the modeling world by storm last year, and if it seemed like her face was everywhere, that is because it was. She has kept up the momentum this year as well, having donned the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition (again), becoming a David Yurman model (think Kate Moss and Gisele) and scoring herself a Vogue cover.

For being newly 21, that is seriously impressive. So in honor of her accomplishments and becoming model of the year, we decided to look back at our favorite Kate Upton photoshoot.

Last October, Upton was featured on the cover of French magazine Jalouse and the photos, styled by Jennifer Eymere specifically in celebration of their 15th anniversary, are seriously stunning. She looks incredibly sophisticated draped in nostalgia. The European flair and nod to 60s fashion was perfect for fall last year, and Alexei Hay’s shots are still on our minds almost a year later.

So congratulations to Kate, and we recommend scrolling through this photos from last year’s shoot and memorizing her face, it will be around for quite some time.
