Last night’s People’s Choice Awards was a bit bizarre, we thought. Brad Paisley played a paisley guitar (cute), Heidi Klum took his cowboy hat, put it on and wouldn’t give it back (weird), Malin Akerman pronounced Ian Somerhalder’s name as Ian “Somerhandler” (awkward) and Beth Behrs partook in a strange medley of “The Sound of Music,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “Baby Got Back” (bad). Whew!

But before all of that even started, there was the runway, and let me tell you, it was just as interesting. We’ll take you through are top three favorite looks as well as the three that probably should have come with a backup outfit.

1. Adelaide Kane

The star of Teen Wolf and Reign wore a lovely Rhea Costa dress that hugged her figure perfectly. Though a large part of it is transparent, it’s still dainty and intricate enough to be classy. Pairing this dress with some simple strappy white Brian Atwood heels was a good move, too — anything too flashy would have been the wrong move.

2. Allison Williams

Allison Williams from Girls wore a funky David Koma dress to the red carpet, and we loved it almost as much as the blue Dior dress she wore to the Girls premiere night earlier this week. We thought her choice of shoes, which echo the subtle geometric shapes in her dress, was smart, too.

3. Jennifer Hudson

Few people could pull of an all-white, form-fitting dress, but Jennifer Hudson did just that last night. The Kaufmanfranco dress looks fabulous on her, and in choosing shoes that don’t grab your attention, she let the pop in her outfit be her bright red lipstick. Nice and classy.

1. Molly Tarlov

If the Awkward actress was going for “whimsical bat,” she hit the nail on the head. But we doubt she was, so it’s safe to say that Tarlov was not one of our top picks.

2. Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco’s pink wedding dress may have been pretty cute, but this outfit certainly is not. But if she were ever to go to folk concert held at an upscale gym, this would be the outfit to go with.

3. Malin Ackerman

The print is okay, we suppose, but the cut is all wrong. Malin Ackerman is getting chastised for being too booby in this dress, but we’re not sure what type of woman is supposed to look good in this number. We commend her for choosing not crazy shoes and a classy clutch to tone it down, but that’s about all we’re giving her here.

What was your favorite part of the runway?
