Happy 24th birthday, Taylor Swift! It’s hard to believe that the country superstar started off seven years ago — all the way back in 2006 (uh, hello? I was 14). Does it baffle anyone else that she’s 24 and has already released four albums? From Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, and most recently, Red, Swift has released a new album every two years since she first came onto the music scene. We’re impressed.

And it doesn’t end there. Swift has been the recipient of seven Grammy Awards, fifteen American Music Awards, eleven Country Music Association Awards, six Academy of Country Music Awards, and twelve Billboard Music Awards. She’s been honored by the Nashville Songwriters Association and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, too. Not to mention, this year she became the second person (and first woman) to receive the Country Music Association’s Pinnacle Award. How’s that for a résumé booster?

She’s had some high-profile boyfriends — Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, Harry Styles, John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Zac Efron, Conor Kennedy, and more — and as we all know, her breakups become songs. She’s a little quirky and we’re not sure we can comprehend how awkward this was for everyone around her, but there is no denying that her music is catchy and always on our playlists.

Without further ado, we’re bringing you our favorite Taylor Swift songs. Kudos, T-Swizzle. We’re personally looking forward to your next album. Here’s to another year old, another year presumably full of breakups, and another killer album that we can only hope lives up to Red.

“We Are Never Getting Back Together”

Although we could honestly live without this song playing on repeat (and the talking interlude), you have to admit it’s catchy. We’re not opposed to hearing this once or twice, just not umpteen times in a row.

“Red”

We didn’t know that losing a guy was like said color, but if Taylor says it, we believe it.

“Thug Story”

How could anyone forget about this gem? Huge thanks to CMT and T-Pain for making this beaut happen.

“Should’ve Said No”

One of our most favorite live performances by Taylor of all time. The rain just makes it.

“Fearless”

Taylor, you’re just too good.
