It’s hard to believe that Taylor Swift wrote these lyrics, especially after seeing her incredible outfit on Tuesday during The Late Show with David Letterman. Swift wore an beautiful Antonio Berardi mini-dress, which was black in the front with some intricate beading on top. The biggest wow-factor, besides for the length, was the gorgeous green back. Swift completed the look with sparkly black Giuseppe Zanotti heels and blue nail polish. Her hair was straight and her make up was very natural, which was a bit surprising considering she is famous for her red lipstick.
After Swift performed and promoted her new album 1989 on the show, she did a quick change of clothes. During that time, Swift opted for a loose black skirt with a white long-sleeved top and red booties — the perfect fall outfit for a New Yorker if you ask us.
Swift is definitely upping her style game for her press tour. She appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she also showed off her incredible legs by wearing a white and gold Dolce & Gabbana outfit. On the Ellen show, Swift wore her classic red lips and pretty much just gushed about her cat.
Before her album dropped, Swift spoke with Seth Meyers about how she feels the need to make sure her outfits are on point now that she is a New Yorker. “New York is one of those cities that feels worth dressing up for,” she said. “I don’t know, I feel like when I walk onto the sidewalk in New York, I have to try a little harder,” she said. Amen to that, T-Swift.
