Taylor Swift’s style usually consists of vibrant colors, fun dresses , and skinny jeans. However, she switched it up with her latest cover shoot for Harper BAZAAR’s December issue. Swift’s elegant legs are shown off by a variety of beautiful pants and equally interesting shoes. She was photographed by Paola Kudacki and styled by Beth Fenton. Her hairstylist was Shay Ashual and her makeup artist was Lisa Houghton.
The setting of the suit is a neutral gray background that really highlights her hair and clothes. The cover photo is a beauty shot, where her bright blue eyes are the focal point. Her makeup is very natural and her face is framed by her hair and fringe cut bangs. The pictures are a mixture of color and black and white. In her first black and white photo Swift is seen wearing a matching vest and pants from Louis Vutton and shoes from Pierre Hardy. In her second black and white photo she is wearing the same outfit she is pictured in on the cover, an tan turtle neck and pants (unseen in photo) from Ralph Lauren, and shoes by Meredith Wendell. In her third black and white picture she’s wearing a top and pants by Les Copains, and belt and shoes from Phillip Lim.
In the first of the colored photographs Swift is wearing a top, jacket, and pants all by Prada. The top and jacket are white and light gray, while the pants are a dark gray. Her shoes are from Pierre Hardy. In her second colored picture she is wearing the matching turtleneck and pants from Ralph Lauren seen in the cover, a Meredith Wendell belt, and nude and orange shoes by Reed Krakoff. She is also seen in an all-white Empoiro Armani ensemble with Stella McCartney shoes and in a white shirt with stripped pants from Sportmax and Alexander Wang pumps in her last top looks.
During her interview with the magazine Taylor Swift says that wearing pants is out of her comfort zone. She also confessed that she owns hundreds of dresses because if she is seen wearing the same one twice it will be all over the blogs and magazines. Not only is Swift a dress connoisseur, but she’s her own manager, writes all her songs, and is the highest paid entertainer under the age of 30.
