OMORO

Our warm, borderline fuzzy feelings for Hungarian luxury brand Omorovicza are well-documented. The Budapest-based brand uses healing spring waters, excludes harmful synthetics, and boasts consistently stunning packaging.

The magic continues with the line’s Complexion Corrector SPF 20.

This beautiful base product is a silicone-free (a unicorn in the world of ‘cone-packed primers), and provides broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays. The formula boasts hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and watercress leaf extract. It’s a white, sunblock-esque lotion that applies sheerly and, when tested on dark skin tones, showed no trace of ashiness. Immediately post-application, a few blemishes (a noticeable red on our fair skin), were less noticeable, thanks to ruby crystal powder, an optical diffuser. Within 10 minutes, our complexion looked ever-so-slightly plumper, with a matte (but not flat) finish that made for seamless makeup application. And while we don’t have any age spots, reviews we’ve read testify that it works beautifully at banishing them.

And the best part? We’ve experienced zero in the way of breakouts or irritation. Just a stunning base, primed and ready for foundation. A must-have in your warm weather makeup arsenal.
