Anyone who is a fan of the Sex and the City movies has been waiting to hear that there will be a third film. We just NEED to know where these characters have ended up… again! Of course, nothing comes easy, especially when you’re dealing with huge franchise like SATC.
However, fans felt an incredible rush of hope after Sarah Jessica Parker AKA Carrie Bradshaw Instagrammed a photo of herself on Monday carrying a medium brown bag from Bloomingdales. Her captioned hinted that big news was on the way. “Well. I guess the cat’s out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able.I’m under a strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj”
OBVIOUSLY users started commenting on how she must be talking about another Sex and the City movie. But to everyone’s disappointment, that is not the case. Parker cleared up the rumors by saying that her SJP collection will now be sold at Bloomingdales. Bum-mer.
She apologized on Instagram for any confusion. “Ps. Forgive me for any previous misunderstandings. Twenty lashes with a wet noodle.”
So, there you have it, no Sex and the City 3… quite yet. But there’s still some hope. Last year, Jennifer Hudson said that a SATC 3 might be happening.
