The world has been waiting with bated breath to learn more about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s new bundle of joy.
Finally, we’ve learned a little more information about royal baby number two! According to Kensington Palace, Prince William and Duchess Kate are expecting their new baby in April 2015, which means Kate is roughly three months pregnant. The palace also commented on Kate’s severe morning sickness. “The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving.”
Well that’s good to hear!
It was announced in September that the couple was expecting a second child. Kate gave birth to Prince George on July 22, 2013, now as he goes into his toddler years, he will become a big brother! Of course, there’s no word yet as to whether the new baby is a boy or girl, but what we do know is that it will definitely be one cute kid. We also know that the new baby, regardless of sex, will be fourth in line for the throne. Prince George is currently third, while his father is second and his grandfather is first.
We’ll see exactly how Kate looks on the 21st of this month, as it was also announced that she and Prince William will greet the President of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs. Tony Tan Keng Yam on behalf of the Queen. Kate is also scheduled to appear at the Wildlife Photographer of The Year 2014 Awards Ceremony, so we’re glad to hear she’s feeling better and is ready to start making official appearances again!
