global serum lisa hanson

We were lucky enough to get a chance to try Lina Hanson’s beauty products over the weekend. And let us just start off by saying, what a luxurious experience that was!

Lina Hanson, celebrity makeup artist and author of Eco-Beautiful: The Ultimate Guide to Natural Beauty and Wellness, is obviously no stranger to natural products that will positively make your skin shine.

And, with celebrities like Morena Baccarin, Gillian Anderson, Ellen Page, and Kristen Davis behind it, we knew we had to try it for ourselves. However, not only has she been backed by these well-known celebrities, but her work has also appeared in dozens of magazines and publications such as Elle, Vogue, W, The Los Angeles Times, Entertainment Weekly, and more! It’s no doubt Hanson is an expert in her field.

Stemming from this interest of hers revolving around health and beauty, she went on to debut the Global Face Serum, a hit product in her Beauty Around the World Line, only later to be followed by the Global Body Serum, both of which are hand-blended, using only the  highest quality natural and organic ingredients. Oils such as Rice Bran, Apricot Kernel, Avocado, and Argan nut are only some of the powerful and all natural oils used.

In addition, Hanson’s products are free of harsh chemicals and parabens, which have repeatedly been linked to cancerous cells in breast cancer patients. Count us in.

But, enough of all that. Does it work? Yes. While we only trialed the product for the weekend, it’s safe to give these serums a hearty thumbs-up.

My skin is known to be pretty sensitive to the slightest change in routine. If it’s not the same cleanser, astringent, or toner, day after day, my skin will flare up. If I miss my skin routine even once, my skin will flare up. Naturally, I was a little hesitant to lather on any of this “serum”. What if it’s too oily for my skin? What if it clogs my pores and makes me break out? That’s probably the last thing I needed.

Oh, how wrong I was! After the first night of thoroughly washing my face, showering, and applying both the Global Body and Face Serums, I could tell a difference. Upon waking up the next morning, my skin was softer, my face was less “oily” and my legs were less”dry”. My body and my face seem to have the opposite tendencies concerning skin, and I was surprised to find that this non-greasy, quickly absorbing formula was able to treat both.

We highly recommend looking into these products through Lina Hanson’s website. However, we have to mention that this is no bargain. At $60.00 for 3.4 fl. oz, it will cost you. But you should remember that you get what you pay for! You might be spending a lot, but we assure you that you’ll receive a lot in return.

Will you try Lina Hanson’s face and body serums?
