They say some things get better with age, and this is one perfect example. Today we’re wishing a very happy birthday to our very own President Obama!

It’s pretty crazy to think it’s been over five years since our guy Barack was first elected President, but can you believe he turns 53 today (Monday)? Through the years we’ve had our eyes on the entire Obama family (dogs Sunny and Bo included!) and we’ve loved watching the whole fam grow up.

Most notably for us, we’ve noticed their fashion and style evolve quite a bit since Obama’s senatorial days back in Illinois. While we normally have our eyes on Michelle Obama when it comes to fashion, we’re moving the focus over to El Presidente this time around. In honor of Obama’s 53 years, we’re taking a peak at some of our President’s most notable fashion since way back in 2004.

While he always looks dapper in a classic suit, some of our real faves include the classy white bow tie ensemble from the inauguration,White Sox jersey throwback from ’05 and his teal polo and pink flower lei necklace from the “White House Luau Party.” While we wouldn’t necessary call him a fashionisto, at least he tries!
