Our favorite fashionista Oliva Palermo got married on Sunday to German model Johannes Huebl. We knew the impending nuptials would happen, and we’ve just been dreaming about Palermo would wear. Staying true to herself and her style, Palermo opted for a cream cashmere sweater, white shorts and a satin and silk tulle skirt — all designed by Carolina Herrera. The skirt had a high slit and floral accents. It was incredible. The bride also wore gorgeous blue Manolo Blahnik shoes a la Carrie Bradshaw. Her stud earrings were by Alexandra Mor and her bracelet was something she picked up from a trip to India. According to her website, Huebl wore a Marc Anthony Hamburg suit.

Palermo’s beauty look was minimal as well. She wore her lovely locks in a ponytail and went with smokey eyes and a pink lip for her makeup. “I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. my hair was in an uncontrived Pony Tail, one of my favorite personal looks,” she said on her blog.

The two married in Bedford, New York, which Palermo said was very private and romantic. Our favorite part about this is that although they could have had an extravagant wedding, and Palermo could have worn any dress she wished, they opted to go simple. Both the bride and groom looked like themselves that day, which proves that the wedding was truly about who they are as individuals and a couple — just fabulous.

Congrats, you two! We look forward to many, many more gorgeous outfits to come… Head over to Olivia Palermo’s website for more information.
