So it’s safe to say that if we weren’t already obsessed with fashion guru Olivia Palermo and her husband model Johannes Huebl, we are now after seeing the February issue of FLARE, featuring this gorgeous duo.
This is the first time the newlyweds are sharing a cover, and it’s absolutely perfect for the Valentine’s Day-themed issue. The two are seen throughout the glossy looking impeccable, wearing designs from Chanel, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Oscar de la Renta and Alex Mill. Palermo in particular opened up about everything from her first date with Huebl to how she found the perfect dress, which by the way, wasn’t actually a dress at all. If you remember, Palermo wore a Carolina Herrera tulle skirt and sweater — very untraditional, very beautiful. Speaking of her outfit, Palermo admitted it wasn’t that big of a deal. “I’m very much a fashion person,” she laughs. “It was like going to any other market appointment and finding something I like.”
Palermo is one of these fashionistas that really knows how to make clothes look good. That might sound a little confusing, but what we mean is, some of the outfits she dons are literally only looks that she could pull off. The best part might just be the fact that not everything on her back is high-end. She’s been known to mix pieces from places like Old Navy with a nice Chanel coat. “You can always see it’s my sense of style at the end of the day,” Palermo said.
While we will have to wait until the issue comes out to find out the cute details of her and Huebl’s life, we did find out that unfortunately, we won’t be seeing the 28-year-old on the small screen ever again.“No, no, I wouldn’t,” she she said of her stint on the reality show The City, calling it “a learning experience I got out of the way early.”
Well, at least there’s always the red carpet appearances…
