It is with heavy hearts that we find ourselves penning a post about last night’s MTV Movie Awards, particularly when there are so many other things to think about, like anklets, and whether Acne jeans are worth the splurge. But based on the rest of the internet, it seems we have some journalistic obligations to at least mention the damn thing. An evening to toast scores upon scores of people we’ve never heard of, with names like Skylar Astin and Carrie Keagan.

There would seem to be no real dress code for the event, and as a result, outfits ranged from lurex clubwear to Hayley Williams’ overalls, crop top and UNDERWEAR CLUTCH, to standard ‘Old Holywood’ A-line dresses. What can you really expect from an event where the best case scenario is that maybe you leave with some popcorn you can’t even eat. Without further adieu, allow us to introduce a few things that weren’t so terrible.

Also: Ke$ha looked horrid.

And finally, Quvenzhané Wallis. Obviously.

And there you have it. Can we have a vodka tonic now?
