This British Model to Watch is already approaching the top of the field, so we felt it’s time for you to hear about this beauty if you haven’t already. Malaika Firth has been in handfuls of runway shows, she’s not a stranger to Vogue, and she was Prada’s first non-white model in an ad campaign in over 20 years. That’s a pretty tall order for such a relatively new face! Check out a few reasons why we’re super-fans.

5. Runway

We would already consider Malaika no stranger to the runway – maybe even more than that. In just this past Spring 2014 season, she was featured in (get ready for it…): Miu Miu, Valentino, Paul & Joe, Gambattista Valli, Emanuel Ungaro, Sacai, Stella McCartney, Celine, Kenzo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor and Rolf, Vanessa Bruno, and Lanvin… and that’s not even all. We weren’t kidding. This girl dominated the 2014 shows without breaking a sweat… okay well we can’t prove that.

4. Prada’s F/W 2013 Campaign

This. Let’s not forget, this was her first campaign… ever.

3. She’s 19.

Yet she already has the maturity to work internationally. Let that sink in.

2. British Vogue

She’s been called London’s new modeling wonder… if this is true can we please see a shoot with her and Cara Delevigne together? We may pass out. These spreads in British Vogue introduce Malaika. What 19 year olds can say they’ve got a spread in Vogue?

We love following this beauty. What’s so lovely to see about this young rockstar is that she’s humble. We love seeing her personality pop up on a dashboards and news feeds. You can follow her and keep up with her activities (like we do way too much) at her accounts, @Malaikafirth on Twitter and  @Malaikafirth on Instagram.
