This week’s model to watch is a Colombian native that delivers a look that’s all her own. At only 20 years old, Catalina Llanes is going to soon become a face seen all over print ads, runways, and editorials.

Catalina began modeling when she was discovered in her hometown of Bucaramanga, Colombia through a modeling contest. The lucky agency that acquired her was Portfolio International. Despite the name, she really went international when she was picked up by IMG Models, one of the biggest names in modeling agencies. IMG Models represents huge names such as Karlie Kloss, Elsa Hosk, and Candice Swanepoel – and that’s just scratching the surface. Hopefully Catalina Llanes will be joining that list in the near future!
Upon her being signed with IMG, she became the first Colombian model to be signed with the agency, and has also been the first Colombian model to be featured on Models.com, a website devoted to all aspects of modeling, especially new faces.
Catalina’s most recognize work was her editorial shoot with Bambi Magazine. This shoot garnered her much attention in the modelling realm. In the 9 page spread, the model appears in an intensely sexual scene. Not over sexualized, but just the perfect amount, and with the perfect amount of innocence.
