Kerr is wearing a printed SEE By Chloe shirt on the cover and looks effortlessly chic. Her makeup is minimal, her hair is flowing and her eyebrows are perfection. The reason Kerr looks so good is probably because of how healthy she keeps herself. Not only does she drink two cold-pressed juices a day (along with a vitamin-packed smoothie), she also dry brushes her skin and exercises every day. “I exercise every day, even if it’s just 10 minutes of squats or yoga or lunges or butt lifts,” she said. “It really makes a difference.”
But as much as we love Kerr for her beauty and health advice (and we do very much!) we love her even more after learning that she’s pretty much an awesome best friend. Kerr admits that she gives away her sunglasses whenever a friend stops by her home. “I have a philosophy. I give a couple of pieces away for every one that I get. I live in New York City and I have a small closet, and it’s also a good way to keep the flow, so my closet is constantly being turned over.”
Kerr also revealed how she stays sane her busy world of modeling and designing: meditation. She told the magazine she practices Transcendental Meditation for 20 minutes a day. “This doctor at Essex University started doing Cognitive Bias Modification and meditation to try to be more optimistic,” she says. “The researchers showed improvement in reducing unconscious negative biases.”
Beauty and brains? Well, we’re feeling inspired by her right now.
