Former reality star Lauren Conrad got married this past weekend to William Tell in Santa Ynez, California. Since Conrad has ditched her days of crying over Jason (where is Jason….?), she’s thrown herself into fashion and interior design. So, we’ve been eagerly waiting to see what Lauren Conrad’s wedding dress looked like as well as who designed it. And now, the wait is officially over!
The happy newlyweds appear on this week’s cover of US Weekly with Conrad wearing her decadent lace couture Badgley Mischka gown. The designers, Mark Badgley and James Mischka wrote on Instagram, it was the perfect dress for someone like Conrad. “We were delighted when Lauren asked if we would design her wedding gown. Lauren embodies a young, modern, and sophisticated style that is the type of women we love too design for. She wanted a simple and classic yet glamorous gown which paired perfectly with the Old Hollywood element we love to put in each of our designs.”
According to US Weekly, the ceremony was described as “rustic-chic” with numerous Pinterest creations that included vintage hankies and homemade apple pie. Although we don’t know much about the specific guests that attended, we are certain that reality co-star and claimed-to-be best friend, Lo (Lauren) Bosworth did attend the ceremony. As for LC’s reality TV rival and former best friend, Heidi Montage, she was allegedly invited but didn’t attend due to her sister’s wedding that same day.
