Legendary actress Lauren Bacall died on Tuesday morning, causing everyone, especially in the fashion world, to reflect on her amazing life.

Lauren Bacall’s sultry eyes, waved hair and red lips became iconic features for the star, who made it big with roles in films such as “To Have and Have Not” and “The Big Sleep.” But before finding herself in film, those features, along with her effortless glamorous style, brought her to the fashion world as a model. Bacall landed her first big break in fashion in March of 1943, when she covered  Harper’s Bazaar. Looking absolutely stunning with her stoic face, Bacall made this cover one of the glossy’s most memorable.
