Kendall Jenner made her Fashion Week debut back in February when she walked in Marc Jacobs‘ Fall 2014 presentation. It seems the two must have hit it off because on Thursday night, Jenner was at it again strutting her stuff for Jacobs’ Spring 2015 collection in New York.
The designer went with a kind of weird theme for his show, but it was wonderful. With narration from the ’70s film “The Girl Chewing Gum” and a pink house lighting the runway, the models took off wearing neutral uniform-inspired dresses, jumpsuits and coats. Jacobs added accents of pins and bubbles to the clothes that were reminiscent of the badges and decor you would find on everyday uniforms from the Army, Girl Scouts and Brownies. Jenner modeled a long-sleeved shift-styled dress in a gorgeous bronze color. She also sported a black bob wig and sandals. As she walked down the runway, she was followed by up-and-coming model Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Adrianna Lima.
This isn’t Jenner’s first modeling gig for New York Fashion Week this season. She has also walked in Diana von Furstenberg’s Spring/Summer 2015 show along side legendary model Naomi Campbell. She was also seen in Tommy Hilfiger’s show this week, wearing very bohemian clothes including a bikini and sheer dress.
All and all, it seems like Jenner is definitely making a name for herself outside of her family. To be honest, no fashion designer cares if your sister is Kim Kardashian if you can’t walk the walk and talk the talk.
