Actress Jessica Alba has been making television and movie appearances since she was only 13 (jealous) and has since become a favorite of ours. She’s adorable, funny, and has great style — what’s not to love?
As we celebrate Jessica Alba’s birthday, we’re taking a look back at her style evolution throughout the 2000’s. Just a fair warning, you might feel a slight tinge of jealousy (or two… or three…) when you see these pictures. Why? Because the actress can pull off just about any style and never fails to look stunning. You might even realize that this birthday girl needs to be your next Woman Crush Wednesday.
This flashback from Jess at the premiere ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ is necessary in showing us just how far her style has come. But even dressed in a sweater and jeans (on the red carpet, too), she still manages to look adorable.
This all white pantsuit ensemble is definitely a more mature look for the actress. The little bit of skin showing was a great way to make normally business-y attire more fashionable.
Jessica arrived to the MTV Music Video Awards in this black leather, fitted dress complete with zippers and a touch of lace. The pointed stilettos and touch of red pulled the outfit together and gave a sort of badass-glam vibe.
She looks feminine and sweet as she throws the ball at the first weekend of the 2004 Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge. This look is opposite from what she wore at the MTV Awards the year before, but we think she can pull off both styles equally.
Jessica sports a much shorter (and blonder) hair style when in France. That, mixed with her floral, breezy dress and strappy sandals, makes for the perfect spring ensemble.
Pretty much from 2006 on, everything this girl wears is amazing and completely fine to wear in today’s day and age. This gilded gown at the 78th Annual Academy Awards compliments Jessica’s skin tone and made her stand out on the red carpet.
Jessica shows us that looking great doesn’t mean wearing a designer dress — you can look adorable sitting court side at a basketball game, too! Even she knows how leggings are absolutely vital when putting together a cute-but-casual outfit.
Kate Middleton, beware. Jessica wore this incredibly chic nude and black coat to The Late Show with David Letterman and, although it’s hiding the rest of her outfit, we might have to say that the coat is the best part. Maybe if all our jackets looked like that we wouldn’t mind wearing them so much.
She was front row at the 2010 Narciso Rodriguez spring fashion show and definitely a focus of attention. Her sleek blonde bun and fresh makeup allowed the attention to be on her glittering black dress. And we wonder, why isn’t she on the runway?!
Jessica heads over to “the dark side” in 2010 when she says goodbye to her honey blonde locks and opts for a much deeper shade of brown. But, seriously, the rich hair color with an outfit like this? This might be one of our favorite looks. All she needs is a dark polish on her nails to match her pedicure.
Even with a bun in the oven, Jessica looks stunning and particularly angelic in this floor length white eyelet dress. And we commend her for wearing those insanely high heels, too.
The actress wears this light pink, shimmering fitted dress to the 3rd annual Diane Von Furstenburg Awards. She contrasts the soft color with black tights and black Louboutins for an overall sassy and sweet style.
Okay, we’ve seen enough. Yellow is her color. And this is definitely one of the better color blocking outfits we’ve seen. If only she could take that leopard carpet with her wherever she went…
At this year’s MTV Movie Awards, you may have been too distracted by Zac Efron’s amazing body to notice just how great Jessica Alba looked. She’s right on with the crop top trend and her hair looked flawless, as usual. *sigh*
