Jennifer Garner for Max Mara

It’s tough to believe that the actress has never appeared in a fashion related campaign… but think about it; It’s true. Jennifer Garner has been playing it low-key lately, which definitely isn’t a bad thing. She’s a great (and stylish) mother that is an all-around very likable figure; there’s no doubt why Max Mara chose her as the brand’s very first celebrity face. [Images via Max Mara]

The star describes her style as “pragmatic,” saying that she “likes to wear garments that have a real luxurious texture and feel good against the skin.” This is definitely apparent in this shot from the campaign. She’s wearing a great cashmere camel coat. The bag featured in the shot is Max Mara’s JBag. In Max Mara’s press release, she states that she likes “that it (the JBag) is big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it’s small enough that you won’t lose your keys!” Most definitely the best quality of a bag; can we get an amen?

The campaign is set to debut in September in VogueHarper’s BazaarElleand InStyle magazines and in The New York Times and the International Herald Tribune newspapers.

Jennifer Garner takes her skin very seriously and is a face of Neutrogena; so this isn’t her first time in front of the camera for an endorsement. We can tell because she looks great in the Max Mara ad. She is also set to appear in the brand’s Spring 2014 campaign as well, we’re excited to see what’s next!

Max Mara’s chairman, Luigi Maramotti, told WWD that “Jennifer Garner is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet, and she has different interests, a family and values. She is a real woman and embodies the Max Mara woman, she perfectly reflects our image.”

You hit the nail on the head Luigi! We love her too and hope the campaign goes well for both parties.

Do you think Jennifer Garner was a good choice for Max Mara’s campaign?
