Earlier this week at the London premiere of Catching Fire Jena Malone stunned on the red carpet in a tight red dress. This dress is a look that we would definitely try and replicate in our “Luxe for Less” feature, that is, if we had to. The best part about Malone’s sexy red dress? It is already luxe for less. And we aren’t talking about it being a few thousand dollars. Or even a few hundred dollars. Or even one hundred dollars. Nope, her dress is currently on sale for $43.61 at ASOS.

ASOS, for those who don’t know about this heaven-on-internet, is one of the UK’s largest online fashion retailers. They also have a few country specific stores, including a US one. They have the latest trends for both men and women and offer their own line of clothing as well as other brands. It is a mecca for fashion lovers offering both affordable and on the pricier side items. And we are so freaking thrilled that celebs have started to flaunt their ASOS finds, and proudly.
While we understand that red carpet premieres are an excuse to get decked out head to toe in Dior and look like royalty, it gives us mortals serious envy. However people like Connie Briton and Jessica Alba have stepped out in ASOS before. Hey, even Michelle Obama wore ASOS, and on the campaign trail!
All we are saying is that while we will continue to drool over red carpet fashion and day dream of the day we can deck ourselves in Dior, we love that more and more celebrities are rocking affordable fashion. It just goes to show that it doesn’t matter the price tag of your ensemble, you can still kill it in a $20 dress if you feel confident in it.
