h&m-ballerina

Is it just us, or have you also always wanted to be a ballerina just to wear the comfortable-looking warm-up apparel and leotards? Well, with H&M’s new line, you may not be getting the latter, but you’ll certainly get the former. The retailer has launched a new line as part of its eco-friendly H&M Conscious collection that is everything a chic ballerina (or wannabe dancer) will want and more.

H&M sticks to the classics with this collection; the designers didn’t stray from white, pastel pink, and heather gray — the essential colors for anyone wanting some cute and timeless basics to add to their wardrobe. The materials (bamboo fiber, recycled polyester, Lycra, organic cotton, and Tencel blends) are soft to the touch, move with you, and are comfortable for everyday.

The collection is composed of seven pieces, each of which can be easily dressed up or down depending on your shoes, jewelry, layers, and let’s face it, attitude. Get heather gray track pants that cinch at the ankles, a loose-fitting v-neck and a supportive cropped top; pink apparel comes in the form of a cropped sweater and a long, flowing skirt; and you can also get a white peplum short-sleeve top and a long, comfortable-looking crew neck top.

These looks may have been made with ballerinas in mind, but you can certainly take these puppies to the streets, whether for a quick grocery run or a night out. Dress up the cropped pants with heels, the cropped and peplum tops with statement necklaces, and the shirts with trendy jackets. We don’t need to tell you.

Would you wear H&M’s new collection?
