Hans Silvester is known by the world over for his beautiful photographs of the rolling hills of Provence, of the horses in Camargue and of the Omo Valley tribe in East Africa. Blooming colors, soft lighting, and careful composition are common traits in Silvester’s pictures, so it’s no wonder that some of his work has crept into the fashion world.
This time, Silvester shot for the Hermès spring/summer 2014 campaign. He took to the jungle with models Diana Moldovan and Yumi Lambert for this shoot showing off the brand’s new collection of scarves and handbags. The pair are immersed in the wild entanglements of the jungle, donning the apparel and accessories styled by Beat Bolliger.
Moldovan wears a long print dress and a leafy headdress in one shot, and she holds some light branches and a green bag in another shot. Silvester shoots Lambert as a colorful butterfly or fairy; the model, wrapped in bold prints, crouches down on a mossy rock as a scarf seems to flutter behind her. Check out the shots for yourself below.
