We confess, by a certain point, we were really, really, really exhausted with Isabel Marant’s now-ubiquitous Bekket wedge sneakers, and the dozens, upon dozens of knock-offs they ‘inspired.’ You can only see these kicks paired with leather leggings, a beanie and a leather coat before it starts to feel like some cruel sort of sartorial deja-vu. Or so we think!
Yet this woman’s look, spotted on the fringes of Lincoln Center’s Fashion Week madness, took our thorough annoyance with the shoes to a place of tolerance?We love her take on ombre looks, particularly when paired with a stunning coral lip.
