Georgia May Jagger is the daughter of model Jerry Hall and Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, so it’s no surprise that this stunning child of rock royalty is gracing the cover of Marie Claire. Jagger first signed a contract with Elite Model Management in 2008 and has since been in many features for designers including Chanel, Versace, Miu Miu, and H&M. In 2009, she was signed with cosmetics company Rimmel and was in ads for the Rimmel London collection. Now, we get to see a softer side to Jagger in an editorial featured in the September issue of Marie Claire. The shoot features the model in knitwear and lingerie, selected by fashion editor Laura Ferrara of Tim Howard Management. In the feature called “Sweet Georgia May,” photographer Alex Cayley takes breathtaking pictures of Jagger, bringing in soft and sensual elements to the shoot without being over-the-top. Her endearing gap tooth and overall cool factor makes this shoot a success, showcasing her natural beauty.
This cover girl for September’s issue is still a hit now, with cozy knits and furs being top-of-mind this season. Her sweetness in the shoot is a rarity, since Jagger usually goes for the more rock-and-roll, edgy look in her shoots and Rimmel commercials. It’s a breath of fresh air to see the model looking a bit understated, and her natural beauty comes out, sans dark eyeliner or an edged-out wardrobe. Check out more of the photo shoot here:
