Freja Beha Erichsen- the fashion industry holds a lot of respect to the three part name. Erichsen, a Danish model, stretched her long stems on the Louis Vuitton runway during the 2014 Paris Fashion Week a few weeks ago. Erichsen is a well-established model, who has been featured in Valentino, Maybelline, Hugo Boss, and more recently Coach and Zadig & Voltaire. She is also known for her work as a Vogue cover girl.

Why are we considering such an established model as one of Haute Talk’s “Model’s to Watch”? According to, she hasn’t walked a runway show since a Chanel show in 2011. We’re not sure what’s changed, but we’re excited to see her making more appearances! Not only that, but she revealed in September that she was launching a fashion line with the denim label Mother, cutely titled ‘Freja + Mother’. The collection seems to be consisting largely of fashion basics, and muted colors abound. Her collection appeals to both the die-hard fashionista and the polar opposite, with beautiful, form-fitting button-ups (goodness knows how hard it is to find one that looks feminine and fits properly), chic leather pants, and straight-legged, skinny denim. Needless to say, we love it. Take a look at some of the photographs, featuring the Danish beauty herself, on Mother’s Denim website.

Josh Olins, Vogue photographer, described her in an August issue of Vogue, “What you see at first is this tough boyishness, but then comes something else, a sensitive, softer side. She’s beautifully androgynous.” We couldn’t agree more. We already see her so much in high fashion advertisements, we can’t wait to see what runways she’ll be featured on in the future. Hopefully her appearance at Paris Fashion Week wasn’t just a one-time thing, we’re craving more!
