Brazilian model Flavia de Oliveira is hardly recognizable in these shots, whose former shoot for Woman Madame Figaro Spain was a lustrous editorial taken in Peru. The publication went with a different approach for its January issue, in which de Oliveira, who has been one of our Models to Watch, goes neo-punk chic.
Photographer Richard Ramos took charge of this shoot, which was styled by Marta Lasierra who dresses de Oliveira in leather, plaid, feathers, and leopard print. Lasierra takes an interesting approach to neo-punk by pairing seemingly unmatched items together; the Brazilian model sports an all-plaid ensemble with printed lace-up heels, a furry leopard print vest with a long, pleated plaid skirt and combat boots, and a royal blue and skirt number with lace sleeves and thigh-high black leather boots.
De Oliveira’s hair takes another risk — generously chopped bangs lead into lightly colors locks — but her makeup is neutral and her face clear revealing this model’s natural beauty. Check out more from the shoot below.
