If there was any trace of Hermione Granger left in Emma Watson, it’s gone now. The once-bushy haired little girl who spent her days casting spells has blossomed into a truly glamorous woman with a GQ title and photo shoot to prove it.
Vincent Peters photographed the 23-year-old actress at Milk Studios in New York, where she styled by Penny Lovell in outfits by Vionnet, Hugo Boss, Emilio Pucci and Jason Wu. Our favorite look by far is the midnight blue dress by Boss. This unique spin on the classic evening gown features a thigh-high front slit and two cut-out pieces below the bust that create a bow shape and highlight Emma’s already fantastic physique. We’re also fans of the three-quarter sleeve Vionnet dress with plunging black collar and bow-tied belt she wore. No need for “Expelliarmus” here: this executive-meets-negligee piece gives Emma an undeniably powerful presence that would intimidate even the highest ranking board member.
The simple but elegant Noor Fares rings on her hands are the perfect accessories to complement without pulling attention from the outfits. And while there’s no doubt that Emma rocked the pixie cut, we really love these slightly longer locks on her.
