Drew Barrymore seems like the type of person who would welcome you with open arms and feed you delicious food while making you laugh hysterically. And even though she’s a mega superstar, she’s well aware of her imperfections, even if we don’t necessarily agree.

The “Blended” star covers the June issue of Redbook, and opened up to magazine about her body. “I would love to have long, thin arms, I really would but I don’t.  I can run a company, so maybe I am just going to have fatter arms and run a company wearing sleeves?  That is my balance; nobody gets to have it all.  I would take wearing sleeves and running a company.  Not that running a company is the key to happiness, but while I may not be tall and thin, I am capable.”

There’s no doubt about that, Drew. She admits that sometimes she’s surprised that her husband, Will Kopel is with her. “Will [being with me], it does surprise me and it doesn’t surprise me.  However, knowing his personality and what he finds humorous and attractive and appealing, I’m like, ‘Okay, got it!'”

We really think Barrymore needs a good look at the cover of this magazine. She will see that she is absolutely radiant and exudes sex appeal whether or not her arms are up to her standards. The whole interview is really refreshing and true to the “goodness” she gives off in movies and on television.

Head over to Redbook to read more with Barrymore, and be sure to pick up your copy of the June issue on May 13th.
