Kate Upton may be on the cover of British Vogue in their designs, but Dolce & Gabbana have the spot light on themselves today for a whole other reason.

According to Fashionista, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been found guilty of tax evasion — again. Reuters reports that the Italian courts have upheld a verdict that was issued last year after to the two were charged with avoiding to pay millions of dollars in taxes. However,  their 20 month sentence has been reduced. Each were now sentence to 18 months in jail, but because it’s below Italy’s two-year minimal, they actually won’t be incarcerated. Fashionista notes that they will likely receive community service or house arrest — either way, it’s not cute.

They lawyers for the two are definitely not taking this well. They are going to appeal the verdict as everyone on the Dolce & Gabbana team have consistently said the duo are not guilty.”I am speechless. We are all shocked. The judgment is inexplicable and we will appeal,” lawyer Massimo Dinoia said.

Dolce & Gabbana have to be upset about this. One day they’re dressing celebrities like Beyonce and Madonna and the next, they’re picking out orange jumpsuits. But they aren’t the only Italians to have some trouble. Miuccia Prada, Bulgari and Giorgi Armani have all had to answer to the tax man.

We wait with baited breath to learn what will happen next…
