Even if you’re more partial to vampire-chic than bronze goddess, chances are there are days when you’re a little tired of your pale complexion in the dead of winter. And while blush does give the color you need, it tends to cake into dry skin and absorb any speck of oil you have on your parched face–two qualities that aren’t exact welcomed in winter. Well, allow us to suggest a cheek stain made of crushed, fresh (or frozen!) berries and coconut oil that provides a long-lasting flush and extra moisture for your skin. Bonus: it doubles as a lip stain! Here at Haute Talk we love anything that has multiple uses. Not to mention fresh and easy cosmetics that you can make at home.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 raspberries
  • 2 blackberries
  • 2 blueberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil

In a large bowl, combine the berries and mash them with a fork until they are a liquid pulp consistency. Then stir the coconut oil (make sure it is in liquid form) into the berry mixture. Pour the mixture into a container using either a strainer or fork so that it is only a liquid. Sore the leftovers in the fridge for up to one week.

Have you ever made your own berry cheek stain?
