Let’s hear it for Charlize Theron, who just landed her sixth “Vogue” cover.
Theron covers the June issue of the magazine, and looks amazing in the beach-inspired editorial shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino. In the spread, Theron is wearing incredible swimsuits and accessories from designers like Rag & Bone, Gucci, Celine and Marie France Van Damme. Theron’s skin simmers with minimal makeup. Her hair is her classic pixie-cut, perfect for riding the waves.
In the interview, the blonde beauty opened up about motherhood, her career and her new boyfriend, Sean Penn. Although the actress didn’t speak much about her own personal style, there is one dress we probably won’t see her in anytime soon. “I never had the dream of the white dress. And watching other people getting married? I think it’s beautiful for them, but to be quite honest, usually I’m sitting there just devastated,” she said.
Editor’s note: Let’s remember not to invite her to our nuptials.
But that doesn’t mean she isn’t ga-ga over Penn, who she says, stepped into her life with this new role very unexpectedly. “‘It just kind of naturally happened,” she said. “And before I knew it, I was in something that was making my life better.” Well, isn’t that the sweetest thing ever.
We definitely loved the interview with Theron, but this is “Vogue” and we needed a bit more from her about fashion, style and what it all means to her. Do you agree? Head over to “Vogue” to read more, and be sure to pick up your copy of the issue, on stands May 27th.
