The Chanel Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week is probably the most anticipated event of the year, and for the fall 2014 collection, Karl Lagerfeld did not disappoint.

Instead of over-the-top clothing that we’re used to seeing from Uncle Karl, he went in a direction of architect and designer Le Corbusier, or rather, his apartment. The models wore designs that consisted of boat necks, long coats, egg-shaped dresses and even biker shorts. The textures that were true to Chanel. Some of them included the classic tweed, feathers and lace.  Most of the outfits were very structured, so much so, that it truly looked like the models were wearing artwork. This was especially true for the last design, which was a stunning wedding dress that was worn by the very pregnant Ashleigh Good.

What was most interesting was that Uncle Karl ditched high heels and went with flat sandals and thigh-high boots, which we’re sure the models appreciated immensely. Speaking of models, Kendall Jenner was there! That’s right the 18-year-old walked in her second Chanel runway show and looked fabulous. Jenner wore a tweed tartan maxi dress which was finished with feathered sleeves. She modeled a matching purse as well.

We have to give it to Jenner for looking like a real model (yes, we know she is a real model, but you know what we mean!) You would never guess that on the side she yells at her mom about taking care of her pup. We also obviously also have to give it to Karl Lagerfeld who continues to stun us each and every time. You go, Uncle Karl.
