Candice Swanepoel is easily one of the most beautiful models in the world, and she reinforced this by looking absolutely stunning in Marie Claire’s June issue.
The model’s editorial was shot on a beach in Miami, where she wore outfits like a blue Chloe cape, Louis Vuitton jeans and a gorgeous black bikini (by Victoria’s Secret, of course!). She also showed off some major bling, bling. We’re in love with the gold body chain from Jacquie Aiche and the bracelets from David Yurman.
But this wasn’t just about the photos, Swanepoel opened up to the magazine about her dogs, workout regime and her hidden talent. “I’m very good at pretending that I am not nervous!” We’re not totally sure if that’s a real talent, but we’ll give it to her.
Swanepoel also discussed how being a Victoria’s Secret model is, in some sense, a lifestyle. “It comes with a different kind of responsibility. It’s not just about posing for shoots. People know your name and your personality.” But the most refreshing part of the piece is how, when it comes to her personal style, Swanepoel is just as indecisive as we are. “It depends on what side of the bed I wake up on. Sometimes I like being hippie or rock-and-roll or girly. I tend to wear a lot of jeans and white T-shirts–I buy really simple clothes but splurge on handbags, shoes, and jewelry.”
