Move over, North West, the Queen has arrived.
Beyonce is covering the fifth issue of CR Fashion Book. Beyonce was shot by photographer Pierre Debusschere, while guest creative director Riccardo Tisci lead the way. The singer looks incredible in the spread, which features nothing but high-fashion pieces from Givenchy, Saint Laurent and Prada. Oh, and a Chanel surfbort. According to the cover, Beyonce is showcasing all of her different characters, moods and auras throughout the magazine.
All of the photos are impressive (obviously), but if we had to pick one favorite, it would have to be the one where Bey is wearing nothing but a long brown coat and black hot pants. She looks so ethereal with hair literally down to the floor.
This is Beyonce’s first collaboration with Carine Roitfeld, who is the editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book, and also the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. We particularly like how Roitfeld and her team decided to “unveil” Beyonce. On Wednesday, the magazine’s website had just an image of a masked woman, and wrote: “In our second annual tradition, we ‘reveal’ a masked version of our Fall Winter cover star. Start guessing..,”
The entire fashion world is pretty much going crazy over this, considering, well it’s Beyonce. But also because we have not seen Bey in such an inspiring spread since her February 2013 Vogue cover.
Scroll through the photos below to see the Queen Bey herself, and be sure to head over to CR Fashion Book for more. Oh, and you can also have your own copy of the issue, which will be released on September 4th, which also happens to be Beyonce’s birthday!
