Palvin’s face seems made for beauty shoots, with soft blue eyes and arched full brows, which complement a perfectly curved Cupid’s bow. Not only is she a spokesmodel for L’Oréal Paris and has walked for designers like Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Jeremy Scott, but Barbara’s set for a big-screen debut in this summer’s upcoming action flick Hercules: The Thracian Wars. “She’s Got It,” indeed.
Marie Claire embraced the natural and carefree inspirations of springtime for the shoot, favoring windswept hairstyles and minimal makeup. Photographer Jason Hetherington opted for both black-and-white and color shots, favoring hazy lighting that enhanced the dewey eye makeup and orange-hued lips imagined by makeup artist Sonia Deveney.
