If you haven’t been living under a rock, then you know Amal Clooney is the name on the tip of ever fashion critic’s tongue. George Clooney’s wife has been criticized lately for her outfit choice during the Golden Globe Awards. Basically, people were NOT pleased with the fact that she wore white gloves.
If you wanted to know how Clooney feels about everyone’s comments regarding her style, well, she couldn’t care less. If you needed any proof, when a correspondent for The Telegraph in Brussels asked Clooney “about the fashion speculation” while she was in court, she replied with a laugh and said “I’m wearing Ede & Ravenscroft.”
Ede and Ravenscroft is a company that makes legal robes. In case you didn’t know, besides for being George Clooney’s wife, Amal has another job. She is a human rights lawyer who is currently representing Armenia in a trial against Turkish politician Doğu Perinçek, who has denied the Armenia genocide.
We think it’s easy to say, that while in court, working on a very delicate case, is not the time or place to be discussing Amal’s fashion choices.
Oh, and for all of you haters, who think Amal isn’t “good enough” for George Clooney, consider this: How many people in the public eye would answer with that much sass and class? Exactly.
