It was all glitz and glamour at the 2014 ACM Awards last night.
The biggest stars in country music pulled out all the stops for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Take for instance, Faith Hill, who completely left us in awe with her powder blue Saint Laurent dress with a plunging neckline. In fact, pastel hues were a common theme this year with Kellie Pickler in a strapless, lavender Romona Keveza piece and Kacey Musgrave in a soft blue number with eye shadow to match.
Of course there were some edgier looks, one worn by our favorite, Taylor Swift. The 25-year-old stole the show in a white crop top and long black skirt with a slit so high we’re sure Harry Styles was kicking himself repeatedly. Her red lips and soft wavy blonde locks completed this look. Miranda Lambert also showed off her goods in a gold Randi Rahm mermaid-style gown — a look that not many can get away with, but Lambert rocked oh-so-well.
If we had to pick who was Best Dressed, we would have to go with T-Swift. The look wasn’t just dead-on trend, it also showed that Swift isn’t afraid to show off some skin in a more grown-up outfit. She stilled managed to look classy, unlike Jamie Lynn Spears, who just missed the fashion boat this year, although we were excited to see her amazing wedding ring!
