Have you made plans for July 4th yet? Independence Day is right around the corner, and we’re getting excited for a day off, possibly a trip to the beach and our chance to show off our reds, whites and blues.

The 4th of July makes us think of sun, barbecue, and beers, which means that we get to dress casually and comfortably. But, this holiday is also about showing some USA pride. Whether you want to throw on a pair of cut-off shorts and a tee, or get a little fancier in a dress, we’ve got some awesome 4th of July ideas that will help you style your patriotism.

What’s more American than Rock & Roll? This laid-back look is easily achieved by pairing jean shorts with boots and a vintage tee. When accessorizing, don’t be afraid to throw a little fringe in the mix. It’s definitely on trend!

Looking for a more polished style? Dress up a simple tank and striped skirt with a statement necklace. Throw on your favorite pair of wedges and you’re ready to go.

We are seeing American Flag denim shorts everywhere this year. Get seriously patriotic in a high-waisted pair with a cute bandeau or crop top. Keep this look casual with some All-American converse sneakers.

Who says you need stars or stripes? A cute polka-dotted dress works well with a tailored jacket, as long as you keep things red, white and blue. Add a necklace and strappy sandals to finish off the look.

Can’t find anything cute with a flag on it? Try looking for something with a nautical feel, like this dress. The blue and white stripe is popular in the fashion world right now. Then, all you’ll need are a few red accessories!

Don’t have anything red, white or blue? You can ditch the outfit and still show some pride. Keep things simple and understated with an adorable American Flag manicure. This will totally score you points for creativity.
