2015 Oscars: Best Dressed Stars Of The Night

OK, let’s recap. Award season officially came to an end last night with the 87th Academy Awards, and we’re still here digesting the drama and the amazing (and not so amazing) red carpet looks. Patricia Arquette looked gorgeous on the red carpet, but her real shining moment was during her acceptance speech when she demanded equal pay for men and women and caused Meryl Streep and J-Lo to react like this. (I reacted in pretty much the exact same manner from my couch.) And of course, you can’t gather a bunch of the world’s most famous celebrities in one room without there being some serious drama. Sean Penn made a controversial comment, host Neil Patrick Harris showed up in his underwear, Chris Pine cried, and John Travolta was real creepy.

While all that is interesting and stuff, let’s talk about what’s really important here: the fashion. The 2015 Oscars turned out to be the holy grail of red carpets and (as usual), there are plenty of looks to talk about. Not surprisingly, Lady Gaga had everyone talking with her interesting combination of a flowy white gown and long red leather gloves. The Internet attempted to explain her gloves in a variety of interesting ways (maybe she had been doing dishes before the show and lost track of time?), but let all the haters hate because Gaga still looked fab.
