Ah, award season has officially started. The Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
There were a lot of great moments: George Clooney’s incredible speech when excepting the Cecil B. DeMille award, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey’s incredible jokes, and of course, Jake Gyllenhaal, just in all his glory. And while we loved seeing all of the celebrities, we weren’t exactly thrilled to see all of the fashion. For instance, to say that Kristen Wiig’s 70s-inspired dress was bad, would be an understatement. Or how about the Zuhair Murad number Jennifer Lopez was wearing? Love the idea, but the cleavage was a bit too much for such an award show. That’s not to say all the designs were bad. Lorde completely shocked us in a cool Narciso Rodriguez pant suit. Oh, and Reese Witherspoon look incredible in her silver Calvin Klein gown.
